I’m Antionette Erasmus, the artist and surface pattern designer behind Design By Anthophile.

My work is inspired by gardens, flowers and the quiet beauty found in nature. I love combining hand-drawn line work with soft painterly colour to create botanical patterns that feel warm, whimsical and timeless.

From sketch to Garden Studio

Each collection begins with a sketch, a colour story and a small moment of inspiration. From there, the artwork grows into repeating patterns and illustrated designs, thoughtfully transformed into pieces for the home and everyday living.
